Abstract Wall Quilt
This minimalist abstract quilt brings to mind the continuous movement of waves returning to shore. Find cool colors from a deep, rich navy to lighter blue tones with touches of green and teal throughout. The random curved piecing creates movement as each piece is a different shape. I quilted a combination of freehand designs that add detail and lovely texture to enjoy. This wallhanging is designed to hang vertically. Notice the photos showing the hanging sleeve on the back, making it simple to hang using a dowel (or other thin rod) across some screw nails.
The size is 35 x 20 inches (89 x 51 cm)
This has not been washed; so a small amount of shrinkage will happen with the first washing, mostly with drying. This causes the crinkly look typical of handmade quilts. If you prefer the flatter look, simply omit the dryer and lay flat to air dry. You can also simply dust with a clean, lint free cloth either dry or damp.
