What is this virtual market with live shopping anyways? Funny,  I always seem to be at the front of the curve, having to explain "what is that anyways?".  I am responsible for the night market and public market trend in my home town.  Although it seemed clear to me, the words word night + market and public + market in my head was self-explanatory.  It has taken me years of self-reflection to realize that people do not see the vision playing in my mind.  When they arrive and see what I have been talking about,  live in action, it is only then that they say "ah, yes, now I get it". 

The world has changed and with it so has business.  Life requires us to keep moving and adapt to the current environment. Blockbuster is a strong remined that those who want everything to remain the same will soon be left in the past. Change is inevitable.  There is nothing that lasts forever. It is just the way it is.

Back in the day, there was this thing called the "Home Shopping Network" it catered to women who were primarily homemakers at the time.  A lively host brought wonderful things to life on the TV.  They translated the makers vision into words and showed them how it worked and all the different things they could do with it.  It was then that we knew we needed to have it.

Fast forward, now there is the internet, a global pandemic and it is time to adapt.  What is old is new, but now there is different technology.  

Live online shopping streams from the internet to your computer screen.  There is a lively host and the guests of the show are makers, local shops, purveyors of the all the wonderful, wacky must have items made right here in Canada. The audience can buy instantly, without ever leaving the show and have their purchases arrive to their door in only a few days.   

No one has to leave their home, go to a crowded public venue, you can invite friends have drinks, food and shop as much as you like.
